Paul Hamill has worked in the music industry for over 20 years in various roles including international DJ, record producer, broadcaster, record label owner. Importantly he is one of businesses highly regarded tastemakers – an individual who labels ask their opinion on the latest recordings. The music business is hyper competitive, with around 30,000 new releases every week across the globe. So back in 2012 he had an idea – Inflyte – a mobile app which allows tastemakers to preview promos sent by record labels while on the go. Wherever they are, whatever time it is. After completing the Propel accelerator delivered by Xcell Partners, they had turned their basic prototype into a fully working system, with first clients and equity funding.
